On Nov. 8, join folks from all across West Texas for the 28th annual Taste of the Permian Basin!
About 40 local and national restaurants, including Zucchi’s Ristorante in Odessa and Genghis Grill in Midland, will be serving up savory entrees and sweet treats throughout the evening. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in silent and live auctions. Additionally, members of the Texas Chefs Association will be putting on an ice-carving show at the very beginning of the event.
Proceeds from the event will go to benefit Permian Basin students and teachers through scholarships, hospitality training, and culinary equipment for local high schools. Because of the event, the Permian Basin Restaurant Association has given $8,000 to $10,000 in scholarships per year. Last year alone, 14 students received scholarship funds.
The event will be held at the Commemorative Air Force Main Hangar in Midland, Texas, at 9600 Wright Drive. Doors open to the public beginning at 6:30 PM and ending at 8:00 PM. General admission is $30 per person, but package deals are available. You can call 563-5233 for more information!
To everyone in Odessa, Midland, Big Springs, Pecos, Monahans, Fort Stockton, Kermit, Crane, and Alpine: See you there!
